Custom Cabinetry

Your Space. Your Cabinets. Built From Scratch.

You tell us what you need. We design it around your space, your style, and how you actually use your kitchen, bathroom, or office — not around what's sitting in a warehouse.

Every cabinet is designed, built, and installed by the same crew. No catalog sizes. No middlemen. No waiting on a shipment from overseas. Just your project, built in our shop, on our timeline.

Walk into the showroom. See the materials. Touch the doors. Talk through what you want — and we'll show you exactly how we build it.

How Doors Sit on the Cabinet

Before you pick a color or a door style, understand the three ways a cabinet door can be configured. This is what determines the overall look of your kitchen.

Partial overlay cabinets showing exposed face frame between doors

Partial Overlay

The doors only partially cover the face frame — you see 1–2 inches of exposed frame between every door and drawer. This is what comes standard on most stock cabinets from big-box stores. It's the most affordable option, but it shows the most frame.

Common in: stock cabinets, builder-grade kitchens, budget remodels

Full Overlay

Doors cover the entire face of the cabinet. Minimal gaps between doors and drawers — just clean, continuous lines across the whole run. Works with any door style — one-piece, five-piece, or slab. This is our most popular configuration and the standard on every Hatley build.

Inset cabinet kitchen with flush doors and even reveals

Inset

The door sits flush inside the cabinet opening with a precise, even reveal on all four sides. This is the look you see on high-end custom furniture — it's been around for generations and nothing else looks like it. Tighter tolerances, more precision — what we promote for clients who want that furniture-grade feel.
